Set Free to Lead – The Steward Leader

The effectiveness of a steward leader is based on our transformation from bondage to freedom. Steward leaders are neither born nor made; they are freed for this work. And the primary fruit of this freedom is joy.

There are Seven Keys to the life and work of the Steward Leader. Each one sets us free to lead.

  2. Freed from Two-Kingdom Bondage to Lead as a One-Kingdom Steward: The Discipline of One-Kingdom Living – A commitment to the daily disciplines that keep me submitted to the one Lordship of Jesus Christ and His kingdom
  3. Freed from Doing to Lead out of my Being: The Discipline of Intimacy – A commitment to the daily disciplines that will help me live out my vocation to be a steward of my relationship with God
  4. Freed from Distraction to Lead with my Identify in Christ Alone: The Discipline of Balance – A commitment to the daily disciplines that will help me live out my vocation to be a steward of my relationship with my Self
  5. Freed from Manipulation to Lead through Service: The Discipline of Presence – A commitment to the daily disciplines that will help me live out my vocation to be a steward of my relationship with my Neighbor
  6. From Complacency to Lead through Nurture of God’s Creation: Discipline of Consistency – A commitment to the daily disciplines that will help me live out my vocation to be a steward of my relationship with all of Creation and the resources God has placed before me
  7. From Apathy to Lead others into the Battle: Discipline of Engagement – A commitment to the daily disciplines that equip and engage me in the spiritual battles for freedom and encourage me to be used by God to set people free
